    Pros

The studio has many opportunities for growth. Great benefits, and phenomenal people to work with. It’s a great game studio.

    Cons

There is sometimes crunch periods where things must absolutely get done. This is not really a bad thing. The pressure isn’t extreme.

    Pros

Really fun work environment, definitely made lots of friends there

    Cons

Some people take the fun work environment to mean it's okay to not work that hard

    Advice to Management

We accomplished so much, but were always held back by people who were only half-engaged. Cut the dead weight!

I have been working at Kabam full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Kabam has a lot of potential for the future. It's constantly growing and improving it's processes. With the acquisition of Netmarble, it's nice to work for a CEO who really values making great games rather than making a ton of money... and that shift in ideology is evident in our day to day. There are a ton of perks including but not limited to: lots of different snacks (healthy and not so much), catered lunches, a game area (ps4, switch, pinball), great team events, movie days, a nice looking office, education stipends, fitness reimbursements, and much more. My favorite thing about working for Kabam are all the amazing people I've met and friends I've made. I truly feel like I'm part of a family. Sometimes, being in a 'remote' office away from the 'main' office can make you feel left out or forgotten, but the main Vancouver hub always does a great job keeping us in the loop and making us feel important and remembered.

    Cons

With the quick growth of Kabam as a company, and the recent changes from our acquisition, there have been some growing pains. I believe it all comes down to the evolution of a business. We are iterating our processes and sometimes that can be difficult. Occasionally, communication is not as clear as it seems it should be in a open office. As the company is growing and evolving, it can be difficult to keep up with changes in processes and roles.

    Advice to Management

Keep loving and supporting your people

I have been working at Kabam full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great culture, regular team events, catered lunch, free snacks/drinks, new career opportunities, development, and progress arising since the 2017 acquisition.

    Cons

Office location is beautiful, but can cause a daunting commute depending on your schedule and where you live in relation to far Northwest Austin.

    Advice to Management

Continue forward progression of company improvements and focusing on employees as well as product and customers.
