I worked at Kadence International full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Kadence is actually a pretty small company that has a weirdly global reach, tight knit culture, and serves as a training ground for young employees. I got my start here and I thank them for that. It seems on glassdoor that quite a few people started out here.

There was some decent training and infrastructure in place, not as good as a larger company might have, but better than a startup.

    Cons

Management was a bit slow/antiquated, but that's common. Pay was low for a research analyst, but that's part of the Kadence business model--pull in recent grads, start 'em low, and grow them. It didn't end up working for me in the long term and I had to leave to get better pay.

There's definitely a bit of a drinking culture, and sometimes managers get a little too close for comfort with personal comments. Definitely NOT the most professional work culture I've ever been around. I've had managers and others say pretty mean/demeaning stuff to my face. Sometimes felt more like a fraternity than a market research company, but that has a little more to do with the personality of the high level mgmt. than the company itself I think.

    Advice to Management

Watch yourself when it comes to getting personal with employees. Your words can have impacts you don't even understand on young employees. Increase the division between C-level and junior employees. Be more professional. Don't push people away.

    Pros

Close knit group, so bonding with co-workers was easy and quick. The project we have to work on can be a challenge but that's all part of the experience.

    Cons

Job description changed/was added to after I was hired which isn't all together a bad thing just a tad misleading and kind of false advertising.

    Advice to Management

Be more upfront about the roles your employees are expected to play during the interviewing process to avoid shocking them post employment.

I have been working at Kadence International full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The best reasons to work at Kadence are people, the flexibility, and the interesting nature or the market research work.

    Cons

The main downside is they don't do annual reviews and as a research interviewer there are layoffs at slow times.

    Advice to Management

My advice to upper management is to continue with the positve attitudes.
