I have been working at Kahoots part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

As long as you give enough notice, the scheduling is pretty flexible. Employee discount. Good work environment. I think location transfers and upward job mobility are very possible

    Cons

I haven't had any issues. I am a full-time student so having a job cuts in to homework time but that'll help with time management.

I have been working at Kahoots full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

-Great morally sound place to work.
-Employees and management truly care about people whether they are customers or employees.
-Good hours for a retail job.
-All employees truly have a say in company decesions on a micro and macro level.

    Cons

-Behind the times in benefits. They only provide health insurance and it is not the best. No 401K, dental, vision, or other benefits.
-They say they promote from within, but it seldomly happens.

    Advice to Management

-Offer some real benefits and stop trying to be so cheap with them.
-Look at all individualsin the company and offer them better opportunities for growth.

I worked at Kahoots full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The relationships built with the customers were great. The store was closed for all holidays and would close early the day before.

    Cons

There was a huge pressure from management to sell, sell, sell, even when the employees received no commission. The company wanted you to push their brand products, but once you got a customer hooked on it, they would be out of stock for months on end. The pricing of products was a bit high.

    Advice to Management

Some of the management from the corporate office had some serious issues with power and control and needed to treat the employees with a little more respect.

I worked at Kahoots full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Giving animals the proper care they need and helping customers decide the best way to have their pets live a healthy happy life.

    Cons

Highly religious ownership, CFO with a napoleon complex, not providing yearly reviews and raises as scheduled, and delaying the onset health benefits for up to six months for employees. Also very difficult to advance further in the company unless you are married with kids.

    Advice to Management

    Fire yourselves.

I have been working at Kahoots part-time

    Pros

Great people, great job if you have pets because of the discount, and great hours.

    Cons

too much pressure to sell without any commission, mild micromanaging, can be boring when slow.
