Donor Centric Fundraising
Feb 8, 2022 - Director of Development in Manhattan, KSRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Great coworkers who truly care about each other. Leadership is focused on giving team members a good career experience, while balancing the demanding world of fundraising goals. K-State donors are absolutely the best to work with, very generous people who truly care about making K-State a great University.
Cons
As of 2022 going through internal leadership transitions and K-State has hired a new University President. Leading to some uncertainty among the team and donors.

Used to be good, but not any longer
Sep 8, 2021 - Operations Staff in Manhattan, KSRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Personal time off (vacation and sick) Retirement Swag Work/life balance Great staff
Cons
Management has turned against staff during covid. No longer willing to listen to staff needs/desires. Foundation is hemorrhaging staff, but management is blind. Foundation had a great year, working from home, but it goes against upper management wishes, and now we all pay the price. Used to be a great place to work, but now avoid at all costs. Stack ranking performance, everyone for themselves. Has become less and less transparent over the years. Management actively downgrades staff so they can get better raises. Diversity and other woke themes are taking on a greater and greater role, instead of serving our higher purpose, fund raising for KSU.
