    Pros

    Good learning experience. Starting spot for sports broadcast interests. Attend sporting events.

    Cons

    Weekends, Late nights.Cannot be a fan of the sports.

    I really like Kansas State University and Manhattan.

    Works around your classes
    Get to meet people
    Teaching is rewarding
    You get paid
    Make your own schedule

    Cons

    Teaching is hard
    People are stupid
    Not paid unless you work
    Not a lot of hours
    You have to have at least B or better to tutor in subject

    Management was good!

    I have been working at Kansas State University full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Great staff, people in departments all over campus are friendly and helpful. Get free college (3 credits per semester; 7 for family)

    Cons

    Pay is not the greatest. State health insurance is starting to get expensive.

    Advice to Management

    Pay people for what they are worth, not the least amount possible.

    You get paid a generous stipend and in addition you get the tuition paid for you.

    Cons

    Long hours are required to complete degrees. Insurance options are not good. Stipend money might not be enough to live alone in the city

    Keep doing the great job you are doing. Too bad president Schulz left for a position in Washington.

    Flexible schedule, great environment, easily transfer between departments

    Cons

    I know this was changing before I left but pay the student works more money. It's tough as a college student.

    Advice to Management

    Continue to be creative. I like how innovative we were trying to be in the MDC!
