I have been working at Kantar Health full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Very intelligent colleagues. Decent benefits including summer Fridays (in the US). CEO is very caring and thoughtful, which trickles down through the managers and creates a really special company culture.

    Cons

Salaries are on the low end. Company is struggling to innovate and adopt new technology that could improve business in some areas.

I have been working at Kantar Health full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

People are great and opportunity exists. Work from home opportunities.

    Cons

They pinch pennies and don't reward loyalty. This is a major Achilles heel for them.

    Advice to Management

Review Salaries because they are inconsistent with the local market

I have been working at Kantar Health full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Plenty of Pros if you are a favorite ... then you have work/life balance ... little work and lots of life; compensation higher than others, promotions to positions for which you are not qualified, taking other peoples work and claiming it as your own, and the list goes on

    Cons

Discrimination, Favoritism, Bullying, Harassment with no corrective action, seems to be endorsed /part of the corporate culture Promotions, Awards, Opportunities based on Favoritism No/minimal salary increases, bonuses unless you are on the favorites list

I have been working at Kantar Health full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Interesting work, ability to work remotely

    Cons

Work life / balance, blatant discrimination, business unit leaders have favorites who get promoted, poor pay scale, bad morale

    Advice to Management

Admit you've made a mistake with recent re-org and listen to your employees. Some of your best people have recently left or plan to do so soon.

I worked at Kantar Health full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Interesting work, with good training opportunities. I felt privileged to work with some of the smartest people I've met, and the teamwork throughout the company led to good, innovative work and the opportunity to learn about all aspects of the business, no matter which department you are in.

    Cons

Most of the departments had career paths and detailed goals for what needed to be accomplished in order to advance. Others had no career paths, meaning no promotions and minimal pay increases, and asking about advancement opportunities was discouraged. Work-life balance was non-existent. It was not unusual to work late into the evenings, weekends, and even days off.

    Advice to Management

Take care of your employees. You have many good people who are giving their all to make Kantar Health successful. You take the time to run employee surveys, so please listen to their feedback, especially since so many are saying the same things.

    Pros

Job experience, great people, work/life balance depending on team

    Cons

Compensation, morale, career advancement, parent company

    Advice to Management

You have a lot of really great people you are going to lose if you don't find a way to improve morale and keep up with competitive compensation

I worked at Kantar Health full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

A fantastic introduction as graduate or junior researcher into the ‘ins and outs of MR’. Lots of on the job training. Very open to employees working remotely.

    Cons

The company structure prevents new researchers learning the entire research process ... the business is based on a seller vs. do’er model. Unfortunately, sellers promise unrealistic timelines, expectations, etc. to clients and it’s up to the do’ers to ensure it happens. The company is run like a sweat-shop and you have zero work-life balance. Your entire world becomes so consumed by the job that you have NO life outside...
