I have been working at Kantar Media full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Benefits are pretty good - health, dental, life, legal insurance. Also education benefits.
Good group of coworkers and management team locally. My own managers are awesome.
I've had success using the employee development programs (paid Toastmaster membership, opportunity to self-educate if you step up and ask to) and flexibility available to me to advance. Play the work-hard-work-smart game and you'll do well. Miss either one and you'll stagnate as advancement in the production environment is rare enough to be extremely competitive.
    Lots of work-life flexibility.

    Cons

I'm not a big fan of what feels like constant restructuring and the lack of compensation raises. It comes off as making the company appear weak and creates insecurity and low morale in the workforce. I understand why a lot of this happens and where it's headed, but I'm not entirely positive about the outlook.

    Advice to Management

Get your act together. I like working here as do others I know, but it's often very tempting to talent to go elsewhere if the grass appears greener. (I'm referring to the powers that be at senior management, and at the parent company WPP - local management is fantastic.)

I worked at Kantar Media full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great chance to learn a wide variety of market research and data analysis strategies, ability to be exposed to clients and hard-working environment

    Cons

Not enough exposure to upper management, no transparency in company matters and no chance for me to grow my professional career

    Advice to Management

Grow the team more and foster a more team-like environment. I felt so secluded and alone since there was only 4 of us in a team.

I worked at Kantar Media full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The people are wonderful. Local management takes a real interest in ensuring a work/life balance.

    Cons

Parent company has removed decent raises, bonuses and eliminated dedicated long time employees to move a significant number of jobs offshore. There is almost no opportunity for advancement within the company.

    Advice to Management

Continue to support your direct reports.

    Pros

Opportunity to advance for motivated ppl.

Lots of clubs and events, good employee morale when they aren't reorganizing.

    Flexible hours are great.

    Cons

Too many reorganization within company. People often shuffled around and forced to change depts.

    Lack of significant raises.

    Advice to Management

Too much uncertainty regarding reorganization lowers employee morale.

    Increase pay based on performance.

I have been working at Kantar Media full-time

    Pros

About the only pro to this company is the flex-time for work hours where you can clock in between 6:30-9:30am

    Cons

Where to begin! This company vastly underpays its employees, has major favoritism when distributing workload, is unbelievably disorganized and unproductive in management, and does very little to address needs and concerns of employees.

    Advice to Management

Try listening to your employees and fixing basic problems they tell you about. Stop with the hours of pointless meetings that clearly don't do anything to help anything run better around the office.

I worked at Kantar Media full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There's flex time which means you can come in between 6:30 and 9:30 without being late. They have a game room with a ping pong table, basketball mini game, pool table, and play station 4. You can take an hour lunch. They're really flexible with vacation time. It's a really comfortable place to work.

    Cons

I struggle to think of any cons for working for this company except the starting pay was pretty bad.

    Advice to Management

They're doing an amazing job. I couldn't give them advice on anything else to change.
