    Pros

Amazing brand that our consumers are passionate about.
    Awesome people to work with.
Great culture and casual work environment.

    Cons

Leadership does not provide clear direction, except to pursue every direction.
A lot of time is spent managing the process and communication rather than getting actual work done.

    Advice to Management

Trust your people to make the right call and don't send them off in a million directions to pursue every possible avenue before making a decision.

I worked at Kashi full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The company has a lot of people passionate about creating natural foods and living healthy lifestyles.

    Cons

Parent company Kellogg's prohibits Kashi from being competitive with other independent natural brands. They want to manage Kashi the same way they do with Special K. This makes product development, advertising, business reporting, supply chain and general processes and procedures overly corporate and not entrepreneurial.
