I have been working at Keane full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great growth there before merger and acquisitions. Talented teams onshore and offshore. Variety of projects to work on.

    Cons

Bit over managed for unrealistic growth goals in face of declining economy. Failed to heed advice of Sr. Account SMEs and replaced with freshers to improve margins only to lose account.

    Advice to Management

Align on organization core strengths and collective resource talent to penatrate existing clients. Create market share thru focused qualified leads vs shotgun approach to be all things to all customers.

    Advice to Management

Management at Keane has been doing a great work in establishing their footmarks and working very hard to grow in SAP which is the growing area currently.

    Pros

As a new Keane Federal employee who has 5+ years contracting experience, I find Keane is very proactive about looking out for its employees -- now and in the event a current contract is not renewed. Although one needs to make a name for oneself pretty early on in the first contract, if you play the game, you will likely succeed. I am proud to work with Keane; it is a one stop shop for superior project management consultancy and support.

    Cons

Don't expect a lot of HR handholding (actually don't expect any HR handholding!) Find your way around the Keane portal and figure it out OR ask a seasoned employee / colleague for help.

    Advice to Management

Continue to keep your Federal employees (and all employees) in the loop as growth continues. Keep allowing your employees to spread their wings and show their stuff; we will continue to make you proud.

Location and opportunity was great while I was there. Loved my boss. Company was sold and is a new organization now.

    Cons

Offshoring of many roles led to morale issues across the company. Firm had a hard time competing at their cost level

    Advice to Management

Company was sold. New Mgmt is in place
