      Great culture and people

      Pros

There are many highly motivated and smart people High emphasis on diversity and inclusion makes the working environment very fair and inviting Strong and visible leadership who lead by example

      Cons

Lot of turnover and confusion after change of internal operating system. Wish the bonus was higher for management service staff. Sometimes the pay doesn’t make up for the long hours you put in, but flexible hours and high tolerance for remote working makes up for it somewhat. Career opportunity may be a little limited for management service staff. No tuition reimbursement system for management service staff. Consultants make management service staff feel like second class citizens sometimes.

      Pros

Smart people Hard workers Ambitious Care about client

      Cons

Horrible leadership. No development of managers other than how to be a good consultant, no development of leadership and management skills Not a good place for experienced hires that don’t have an MBA, will always start you at an analyst level, regardless of experience Not friendly to veterans

      Pros

Your experience is what you make it. Super smart people and with some very interesting work and great post-consulting outlook. Lots of growth opportunities on projects and otherwise. Fantastic consulting experience to learn about industries, functions and stakeholder management. Mix of friendly, serious and hostile coworkers.

      Cons

Project pipeline is currently very weak which slows progress and promotion cycle. Staffing is not as invested in getting the right project or role for consultants (staffing is more consultant driven and a factor of networking rather than capabilities).. Projects are often sourcing heavy. Definite number 2 to MBB consulting companies.

      Good opportunities

      Pros

Smart people, interesting projects if you can avoid getting stuck in sourcing or something you don't enjoy. Expense policies help make the travel more bearable.

      Cons

Lots of travel. No regional staffing model. Need to keep billing % high means not always having as much input on your project selection as you might prefer.

      Business Outlook

      Pros

Smart people, down-to-earth and pragmatic approach, collaborative and great opportunities

      Cons

Too individually and short term focused (at senior levels) - often leads to short term wins and focus on fighting for yourselves, versus truly investing in long term company/team success and long term client relationships
