I have been working at Keller Williams (Less than a year)

    Pros

Training is superlative. Classes offered are free. Multiple classes offered daily. You can and maybe should begin attending before you complete your license. Very welcoming environment. You make your own hours and decide what works best for you!

    Cons

Before you decide to become a Realtor, be sure that you understand that it is primarily a sales job just as it says on your state license. 100% commission based and 1099 so you have to manage your taxes.

    Advice to Management

    1. It would be great if KW could offer some kind of CPA access program--a discount program, free in-house, or something else creative. 2. There are a lot of personal and business finance fundamentals that people need to have a realistic grasp on. The class should be free and available at least quarterly.

    Pros

-Offer several classes to help better your business.

    Cons

-Don't really focus on hip pockets like a lot of local, boutique brokerages do.

I have been working at Keller Williams (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - Training, support staff, and overall office culture. In real estate every agent is responsible for their own success, however KW stresses the importance of helping other agents and creating a strong bond between office agents.

    Cons

Just like every major real estate brokerage, there will downsides. Some companies excel with technology while others rely on name brand. KW has been focusing a lot of money and time to get up to speed with technology.

    Advice to Management

Continue to push the technology above other competing brokerages.

    Pros

Good starting split (70/30), great training, good ongoing support

    Cons

Wasn't the top brokerage in my high-end market. more of a rah-rah corporate culture than I enjoyed

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great job with training and educating new agents, focus on keeping your quality experienced agents

I worked at Keller Williams full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great training and fair support and a few leads, good place to start out but don't hang your hat there they will milk you dry.

    Cons

They are always trying to sell you the next best thing, a book, coaching, tapes, seminar something and they charge office fees that they don't tell you about until you are on board like advertising fees and lead fees and phone fees that they won't stop charging-in my opinion it is a CULT.

    Advice to Management

STOP WITH ALL THE RAH RAH AND CHARGING AGENTS FOR THINGS THEY DONT GET

I have been working at Keller Williams as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

Great atmosphere, friendly and helpful agents. The training is on going and thorough

    Cons

It seems to be a numbers game at times. How many agents can you get enrolled. Obviously, it is a business in the end like any other and wants to grow.

    Advice to Management

Focus on growing new agents more. Many leave after the first few months. Consider doing away with the transaction fee. That additional 6% means alot,

I have been working at Keller Williams full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Support from leadership. Great training. Lovely people and very friendly office. Great meetings and learning opportunities. And that's all that I can think of right now, just a good place to work

    Cons

I don't have any cons but I have to write at least 20 words, which is ignorant glassdoor!! Sometimes 20 words is too many!
