  • The office politics are very dramatic and upper management turns a blind eye to the unhappiness of the lower level employees (in 5 reviews)

  • The training wasn't very well done either, they showed me everything in a span of an hour and then left because their shift was over (in 3 reviews)

    Pros

    It's a good company for a starter job or just extra money, if you don't mind cleaning. For a porter position it's short hours.

    Cons

    Depending on what company you contract for your pay doesn't match the amount of work that you do. It's a self taught job there's no training.

    Advice to Management

    Make self and company evaluations mandatory; there are lots that is being missed from the lower level workers.

    Good pay but not worth the amount of hours you have to put in

    Cons

    No work life balance. Upper level leadership not reachable when needed. Contracts set up for failure

    Advice to Management

    Revise contracts so tasks can actually be done in time provided. Stop the revolving door at mid management

    The team in the Customer Service office. Office manager is very helpful.

    Cons

    Upper management. Not well organized.

    Advice to Management

    Organize and hold field management accountable.

    I worked with KBS for 3 months, and they tried their best to work around my schedule.

    Cons

    They're not very organized. In the span of 3 months that I worked with them, I had my schedule changed more than five times, adding and removing days off. The training wasn't very well done either, they showed me everything in a span of an hour and then left because their shift was over.

    Communication is key. Please try to keep all offices in the loop.

    I have been working at Kellermeyer Bergensons Services full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    I've been fortunate to see this company and Customer Service grow. They continue to grow at a fast rate and continue to invest in training for each team member. Within Customer Service I feel there's a genuine team effort, even between offices which are not located in the same vicinity.

    Cons

    Communication had been an issue in the past but the company is working to improve. Like all companies, work load can at times be a challenge. It's important to speak to your Supervisor when/if this happens. I've found there's always support available.

    Advice to Management

    Continue focus on improved communication, it's appreciated more than you know.

    Pros

    Allowed to function independently as log as work is being completed and excellent support from co-workers/supervisor.

    Cons

    Pay could be better, benefits could definitely be better (very little time off), high work load, needs better communication between offices.
