    Cons

    Unfair, Unjust Termination March 2017

    Advice to Management

My advice to management would be to schedule team meeting with everyone. All rules should apply to all team members. Also fulfill promises made with your employees. If your going to give $25 referral fees.Live up to it. This is sad but true. My management never stopped by to do any classroom observance. Made many visits to the local branch but never engaged with team members. No compassion. checking and confirming to emails in never important to management. However, sending multiple misleading emails sheis very good at. Supervisor needs to have plenty ethics training coarse to help her communicate and relate to the educational field. Last but not least, No substitute teacher should be terminated if she not able to work Mondays and Fridays..

I worked at Kelly Educational Staffing part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great opportunity to get your feet wet and experience with working with children in a classroom setting.s

    Cons

The manager that hired me seemed extremely miserable and lacked interpersonal skills, to say the least. I wish they would offer better wages.

    Advice to Management

BE RESPECTFUL! Managers you were great except for this young man in particular. He was always rude. I ended up quitting because I did not want to work with a company that did not value me as an employee. However, that did push me to start walking in my purpose and wake up the entrepreneur within me, so thank you!

The onboarding/training process needs much improvement! Assist subs with alternative and effective materials to take to the classroom in case the teacher is absent.

Versatile work schedule multiple work locations. Not much work experience necessary. It is advantageous however to have either a teaching, or social services background.

    Cons

There are no benefits available for part time employees, and the compensation for the work is dismal. A substitute teacher, in the grand scheme of a school system, is unappreciated.

    Advice to Management

I can find work every day the schools are open, and there are usually plenty of selections that fit my personality and abilities. I love the fact that I can work if I want to, and on days when family needs me, I can stay at home.

Website is has a pop-up window which moves all over the page randomly. This makes it very difficult to see and select jobs using a smart phone.

    Advice to Management

Fix the pop-up for daily available jobs.

    Pros

Working with the students was the best part most days. The hours are great if you get hours

    Cons

They don't call you back most times. Poor communication. When you need forms to be filled out to verify employment they are NO help. They do not help you find the assignments you want nor do they assist in finding long term placement. They offer you assignments that are really far most times.

    Stop wasting people's time.
