    I have been working at Kelly-Moore full-time

    Pros

Good work environment with friendly and down to earth people found in all departments. Small teams allow for growth opportunities.

    Cons

Better inter-departmental cooperation could help get things done faster. Not many perks offered compared to other companies in the area.

    Advice to Management

Management does a good job keeping staff informed on upcoming changes.

    Pros

Kelly Moore at one time was a good company with advancement opportunities at all levels but there are very few positives about Kelly-Moore now.

    Cons

New Management has come in and is pushing out KM employees to bring in their buddies from SW. The company has regressed 20 years. Just a good old boys club now. Looking for a job.

    Advice to Management

The corporate level is endorsing all of these changes. Will not listen to any advise. Very Hilterish.....my way or the highway message from the top. Very sad to see a good company like KM destroyed. KM will be sold or out of business in less than 5 years.

    I worked at Kelly-Moore full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Resonable salaries, good benefits & fun working environment.

    Cons

Many senior employees let go 'at will' will hurt service levels. Many full time positions downgraded to part-time status. Most major changes in upper management have come from Sherwin-Williams. and they are following SW playbook. Sales results are all that matters. KM was always known for outstanding service. These cuts will not be sustainable without damage to that reputation. Asbestos litigation has really destroyed all that was good here. I'm curious to hear if the CEO Steve DeVoe cries anymore crocodile tears about how he values employees.at the next annual meeting.

    Advice to Management

You cant get rid of long time good people & replace them with part-timers and expect to continue service levels.

    Pros

Semi flexible work schedule. Store GM's are generally very professional but friendly as well

    Cons

Top heavy in management. Raises are sparse and anemic. Many contractors will complain about anything.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of poor managers. Many double standards when it comes to management. Start giving out raises based on performance. Not time.

    I have been working at Kelly-Moore full-time

    Pros

The people that I worked with everyday were amazing. Kelly Moore doesn't understand the value of the people they have in that store. They are some of the hardest working and nicest people. Customer service at its finest there!

    Cons

The upper management is abysmal. They do NOT take into consideration the employees advice or even listen. Its all about who you know, not how hard you are willing to work. I saw three long term (10 years plus) employees get let go because the upper management wanted other people in the jobs they had. The company is also based out of California and if you aren't a store out there, they don't care about keeping your facility up to date or expanding to be competitive.

    I worked at Kelly-Moore full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Corporate departments are small so there is room for growth and opportunity

    Cons

Management does not capitalize on employee potential. There is a lot to be said about management training which ironically there is little to none on the corporate side.

    I have been working at Kelly-Moore full-time

    Pros

Paid holidays off, anniversery days/birthdays paid off. Store hours arent that bad (shorter in winter). Bonus plan every quarter ( as long as your in a high volume store ).

    Cons

Not much room for advancement, A lot of employees "coasting", not enough staff, pay is not competive and benifits arent great, they dont match 401k, health/dental plans are high.

    Advice to Management

Pay employee's close to what compeditors are paying, have managment on a district level be more involved with employee's on store level, have one set standard for the company not letting managers manage store's "at will" as well as DM's .
