I worked at Kelly Services full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The pay was good. Working from home. The customers were really great to deal with.

    Cons

Never knew my schedule until the week of. My hours changed constantly. Half hour lunch was rigid and didn't allow for any decompression. No personal life. Don't think about 2 days off in a row don't exist . The team leader was really unprofessional he would yell at us. The system didn't work right have time data would get deleted would have to reenter the same stuff over and over again causing your numbers to be high and that would be held against your stats. The system was confusing. I have been in this type of environment for 15+ years thought this was the worse for training.

    Advice to Management

Teach these team leads how to talk and not yell. Need a schedule that is workable with more notice then the week of. Better training with hands on.

I worked at Kelly Services full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Great Coworkers
    - Relaxed inter-team atmosphere
-Tons of awesome training resources (after the fact)
    - Weekly pay
    - iMac Supplied!

    Cons

    - Extremely Abbreviated Training
    - Poor & very inconsistent communication on policy, directives, mentoring & scheduling
    - Completely Insufficient time allotted to do your expexted (non phone-time) work such as email, assigned training & even hardware o/s updates
    - Constant system access problems (almost daily) requiring ridiculous amounts of time to document and call HR or else you will not get paid

    Advice to Management

Get on the same page. The company policies, training, SOP, ongoing guidance, best practices & support can vary widely (and sometimes critically) depending on who you ask.

    - FIX IT - Abbreviated Training, Rush-Through & Hasty approach to nesting process. You may believe cost to benefit ratios dictate that your level/duration of comprehensive training are sufficient. They are not.

    - The bottom line is ultimately punished because of repetitive assistance advisors need to do their job.

    - Put in the training resource dollars up front! Efficiency will skyrocket and call queue hold tines will plummet, if you do.

    - An utterly incredible & unacceptable amount of time is wasted by throwing under trained advisors on the floor too quickly.

    - The perception of Apple's customer base suffers as a result of long call times and unresolved issues, so frequently.

    - Stop pounding down employee morale with the nickel & diming on hours paid, when off phone-time is a direct result of your systems problems. It's a slap in the face (and frequently illegal)

I have been working at Kelly Services (Less than a year)

    Pros

Seems like you just need to show up. Attendance is the main reason they fire advisors, which is odd since you're working from home.

    Cons

Haven't had an opportunity to move up within the company. Metrics make it nearly impossible. Whenever a job is posted there's no way to apply.
