I have been working at Kelly & Associates full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Benefits are good.
    Work/Life balance is typically fair.
    Work from home possibilities.
    Good facility and on-site gym.
    Yearly bonus received

    Cons

Compensation and communication are highly in need of improvement. Pay is low compared to industry standard, but they justify that with the benefits packages.

    Advice to Management

Pay your employees. Communicate much, much better.

I worked at Kelly & Associates full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Adequate work-life and CEO seems to care

    Cons

Not enough room to fill out. Promotions non-existent, idiot managers, and the worst politics in an office I have ever seen. If you are not an attractive woman with a large chest or went to Calvert Hall College High School , played lacrosse, and / or go to the same church s a guy- you are dead in the water.

    Advice to Management

Most of your Mid-level managers and assistant managers are boot-lickers who denigrate and play favorites. 90% of all should be FIRED. Better pay and try to understand, your employees rate you low because the culture is broken, not them.
All other employees- please note HR is watching this site. If they figure out who you are, you will be eliminated. Lots of retribution.

Limited training available for guiding you to do your best.

    Advice to Management

Provide more training to employees and improve the compensation package.

I worked at Kelly & Associates full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Nothing. If you actually pay attention to what is going on you see it for what it is. This company practices business like a high school. Only buddies, family members, or prior lacrosse team members get good positions or promotions.

    Cons

Senior Management with no management experience or training. Pay is horrible considering the amount the Kelly's donate out with company money and what they are probably giving themselves. Kelly's are never around yet think they know what to do. This place was a joke to work at.

    Advice to Management

Hire Management that knows how to do their jobs. If the Kelly's are not going to actively be part of the company they should excuse themselves. You are only in business due to having no competition.

I worked at Kelly & Associates full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great positive team and work environment. Lots of perks. Very Christian. Standard benefits package with tuition reimbursement. Gym on site.

    Cons

The work is stressful. You get entered in to a drawing for a bonus instead of earning one based upon your hard work and effort. Even thought you have PTO there are black out dates during the holiday season.

    Advice to Management

Pay good employees what they are worth

I have been working at Kelly & Associates full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Depends on the department, but in general nice coworkers. Good insurance and 401K.

    Cons

Poor compensation, unless you're a friend of the family. Women especially have to fight to be comped close to their male counterparts. YOU WILL NOT GET A COST OF LIVING INCREASE HERE! The most they allow every year is a 3% raise and that's unheard of at KELLY. Employees are overworked and underpaid. Management is poorly trained leading to unprofessional work environments.

    Advice to Management

Invest in your employees! You don't have to pay the most but be more competitive. It will weed out the bad without chasing away the young and talented! Stop forcing you views on everyone. For religious reasons you won't pay for my IUD - I can't afford children on this salary!!!
