I have been working at KellyOCG full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Solid, stable, senior leadership. Sets strategy and vision and works hard to communicate and execute that plans. Commitment to their workforce (training, ethical behavior, achievable expectations)

    Cons

Highly matrixed so you have to be able to influence outcomes without having complete control of the resources. not for everyone. But it forces you to learn how to negotiate!

I worked at KellyOCG full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I overall loved my time at KellyOCG and worked in a variety of roles, RPO Operations and Solution Design. The ability to innovate, create solutions and work with clients and create something unique was always exciting. Benefits were great. People overall were great and there are some great leaders like Teresa Carroll, Tim Dupree and Jean Devine. Carl Camden truly talks to all levels of employees to gain insight and does encourage smart risk as he promotes.

    Cons

Promotions for virtual leadership are hard to obtain. Years at KOCG comes into play as well as how quickly you have progressed. There is a "hold" if you are viewed as moved-up too fast even if you came to KOCG taking a lower position to prove your value. Very much a HQ type of approach to leadership and also driven by length of time.

    Advice to Management

More flexibility in the virtual leadership. Make changes more quickly when someone is not driving the right result (Keep the "C" in OCG, ensuring leaders put in high positions are always consultants 1st and not just driving transactions). There is a high commitment to long-term employees, which is great, but ultimately keeps some C-Level players and promotes them further into leadership.

    Pros

Pace of growth and change creates endless opportunities for learning and career development. Thinking is constantly challenged and you are encouraged not to spend too long in your comfort zone. Being at the forefront of thinking in the talent solutions space means constant change and innovation and never resting on what you already know - but if you want continuous fast development, learning and an agile environment surrounded by like minded peers - there are not many places like it. Workload and travel can get heavy but you have a lot of flexibility to offset this. Very client centric in its focus. Flat and collaborative org structure globally. Clear direction and strategy. Fun people with hard work ethic and sense of humour.

    Cons

No real downside - normal challenges of trying to achieve a work life balance but at the same time, seeing places I never saw, learning new stuff everyday and having a lot of laughs along the way.

    Advice to Management

Continue with the clear vision, strategy and drive to it. Flex and pivot to adapt and grasp different opportunities for growth. Retain knowledge capital.

I have been working at KellyOCG full-time

    Pros

Flexible schedules and good benefits (although expensive)

    Cons

Fail to be proactive with staffing needs including backups for people on vacation. Causes a lot of overtime hours with no extra compensation since it is an Exempt position. Have to sacrifice vacation time to get the job done.

    Advice to Management

Hire managers that have actually done the job. Otherwise they do not comprehend the workload; they can only go by stats.

    Pros

    Ability to work remote
Co-workers are great to work with and great team players.
Great sales people with years of experience and top talent

    Cons

If you socialize with the VP on a daily basis you can get to the top by throwing others under the bus.
HR does not have hold upper management accountable for their behaviors.
Management does not get involved with client until there are major issues even though they have been brought to their attention.
Promotions are all about who you know.

    Advice to Management

The CEO needs to start socializing with the employees on the ground and get feedback on their upper management.

    Pros

Kelly offers a lot of freedom to come up with great innovative ideas, so one can truly contribute to the overall development of the company. As a strong performer, senior management will constantly have an eye on you and will allow you to reach your potential.

    Cons

As in most larger companies, that don't really have a central office to get together, it is always a struggle to collaborate on small daily challenges and many processes are required to ensure full transperency.

    Advice to Management

Try to simplify process and invest in more f2f activities within the different teams
