I have been working at Kelsch associates full-time

    Pros

    Okay money for easy work.

    Cons

Everything else besides the money is a CON. The pay is the only reason I gave them 2 stars. You only earn 15 hours of paid time off every two months but if you’re late or call out within those two months it gets pushed back another two months. Their policies and procedures are a joke they change them every day and they put on a front like they’re such a good company. Apply at your own risk!

    Advice to Management

Get to know your employees. We don’t know who half of you are. Show your employees some appreciation cause if we weren’t here your company wouldn’t be what it is today.

I have been working at Kelsch associates full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

This is a very rapidly changing company, and is actively looking to improve and expand. Many changes took place in company structure in the three years I've been here.

    Cons

Inconsistency of schedule is what makes job retention difficult. They are looking to change this in the future

    Advice to Management

Provide true opportunity for growth and consistency of schedule for the Resident Manager position.

The consumers are amazing, Staff are hard working. Good settings and the pay is neutral. Good for people who are taking classes they work with your schedule.

    Cons

Health insurance is high. Management have favors. A lot of rules and consequences. Get a Med error and your pay rate get dropped for 3-6 months

I worked at Kelsch associates full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Their trainings are a joke and as for the rest. They also have poor management and office structure. That's the best they've got for sure.

    Cons

Their disabled clients are not properly taken care of and forced to live in terrible living conditions. I would not work there.

    Advice to Management

You should have a quality control department that acts as "secret shoppers" to check on your group homes and the conditions inside them -- not to mention check on how your workers are treating those entrusted to you for care.

I have been working at Kelsch associates full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There is a bi-weekly bonus. Although this is an amazing bonus and makes the agency competitive, there is a required write-up policy which takes away a number of bonuses from staff. Thus, causing a hostile environment due to staff being on edge about loosing money from their check.

    Cons

There are aged policies, low moral among staff, no set schedule, and a large disconnect between administration and staff in the group homes. I entered a manager position with no office equipment yet was expected to perform my job with lack of material and adequate training.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your staff and realize how low the moral is among staff.

I worked at Kelsch associates full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Money was good, bonuses were also when we did see them. Great set of clients loved working with them developed a great relationship with them over many years

    Cons

The new administration doesn't care about anything other than the money, everything is about money me cutting corners. Everything in their philosophy as far as no scapegoating and always room for growth and improvement does not apply to them. The schedule and shifts are ridiculous. Some of their policies need to be revised.....of your single with no kids or responsibilities go for it

    Advice to Management

Realize it's more to life than Kelsch bc you lose great employees over policies in place that y'all don't even seem to follow
