There is a need for more IT automation in some of the departments and areas. Would like to see a mobile app for employee self services and patients services.

Open to more IT automation and less paper process.

I worked at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Helping people, easy work, meet new people everyday, good pay, very flexible and understanding, good work-life balance

    Cons

Management was horrible. Lots of favoritism. No chance of growth because they already have their friend lined up for the position. They MAY interview you only because they HAVE to but they already know who they are hiring before the position is even posted. Make patient do surveys and it's their word against yours.. But they always win.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees better. Make them feel valued and important no matter WHAT their position is. Be fair with all employees! And don't be selfish with the budget assigned for you to "treat" your employees for your specific department... Providing lunch once a year for admin day does not make up for your actions.
