I worked at Kemper as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

In my summer internship I learned a lot of useful software and design skills. My supervisor was very flexible, and let me take on projects that would teach me new skills I wanted to learn.

    Cons

Everyone was cubed off in their own space. There wasn't as much of a sense of community in the office as I've experienced in other workplaces. Not everyone seemed super motivated or engaged in their work.

I have been working at Kemper as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Company that is made up of good people. Job offers good work life balance, not much overtime. Everyone is willing to help. Good place to start off.

    Cons

Hard to find time to schedule training, lowish-medium salary. Not always great communication between departments. Hire management from other companies, not from within.
