I have been working at Kenan Advantage Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Kept local, within 2 states. The pay is on the high side for the industry. Insurance is also competitive.

    Cons

Poorly maintained equipment, and difficulties in getting supplies

    Advice to Management

Streamline equipment supplies, and perhaps standardize the methods of making them available. Reduce customer paperwork to a minimum. Place a manager in local area to coordinate customer service.

    Pros

KAG is making heavy investments in the future, and working hard to build on an already established leadership position in the industry.

    Cons

Growing pains in transition from smaller company to big company, but I'm expecting success at the end of this major transition phase (~2020).

    Advice to Management

The new C-level team must keep up the momentum started in January 2018.

I worked at Kenan Advantage Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

My co-worker's and Drivers were excellent!

    Cons

Management was Very Closed Minded and very unhelpful , Long hours , working Holidays and nights with no appreciation for Family or Advancement. I accepted a Job that Promised a 10% annually Bonus of wage , Review's, Raises , great benefits. I ended up getting the complete opposite as promised . the atmosphere was very Hostile and the employee's were VERY VERY unhappy and everyone I worked with were currently seeking new employment outside of the company.
This has been the worst Job I have ever had and I would never consider even my worst enemy to apply here .

    Advice to Management

    Care about good employees
Be fair and don't belittle employees
    Talk to adults like adults
    Be open minded and Honest
    Find a different profession
Not a single employee likes you
Show even the slightest bit of integrity
    Answer your phone
    Stop the favoritism
    Care about Humanity
    Listen to your workforce
    Stop with Racist Gestures

I worked at Kenan Advantage Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Schedule, Office, Coworkers, If your lucky and get a good boss they will probably work with you.

    Cons

Supervisor likes to micromanage, NO OT offered, Low Pay, Expensive Benefits, weekly meetings, No advancement, No raise, will not negotiate anything and you might end up getting fired

    Advice to Management

Weekly meetings need to be reduced and Over Time needs to be offered if you want your employees to do there job in a timely manner. Its ridiculous to pester someone for making a couple of minutes over time especially when there is alot of work that needs to be taken care of.
