      Pros

Multiple work locations if you are interested in exploring new areas of the world. Lots of horizontal movement if employees want to try a new role.

      Cons

Large disconnect between corporate and the manufacturing sites, high turnover rate, and poor culture. Salary is competitive to start, but is not likely to be adjusted for many years.

If you aren't considered valuable to management you will not get equitable treatment

      Pros

Good people working hard for a better future. Benefits are just competitive due to high deductible only options Company invests heavily in IT systems

      Cons

Constant change in executive management and business model Negative benefit changes unless you are C suite Global business with many low cost foreign competitors Brand loyalty has been greatly deteriorated by poor management decisions High deductible health insurance with high monthly employee cost Employees are disposable assets especially during market declines 14k + down to 10k now and still shrinking to greatness Promised benefits were taken away over time. Not a trustworthy employer

      Interview Process

      Nov 17, 2020 - EMERGE Associate

      Pros

The interview process for the EMERGE leadership rotational program was one of the best I have ever partaken in. All of the people who interacted with the candidates showed a high level of professionalism by being incredibly knowledgeable and kind. The hiring event was ran smoothly and gave candidates the opportunity to become comfortable with the atmosphere and some of the individuals with whom they would be interviewed by. Also, candidates were assigned a member of the organization to help answer any questions they had/guide them through the day. This was an extremely helpful tool in being able to get out any last minute nerves, learn more about the company, and ask any questions you may have. Overall, the experience was great and there was never a time where I felt overwhelmingly axnious/nervous or had questions still unanswered.

      Cons

The hiring event tended to be a little long (almost a full day), so it is important to allow that into your schedule. Also, every person that spoke was asking for the candidates to ask some type of question so it is important to always be thinking critically and ask any question you may have.

Rewarding job, but very Wall Street oriented company.

      Pros

The work was fulfilling, and I could see the benefit that it had for both the company and the customer. Co-workers were supportive, and there's a lot of opportunity to learn and contribute.

      Cons

Pay was mediocre. High wall street orientation means company is very sensitive to labor costs as a ratio of expenditure, so it's not very secure.
