    - Colleagues care about the research participants
    - Civil work environment
    - Work-life balance
    - Continuing education opportunities
    -Friendly workplace

    Cons

    - Upper management (and some mid-managers) fail to recognize the expertise of the staff and ignore anyone without a PhD
    - High turnover because of a lack of respect and opportunities to advance
    - Tough and repetitive work that does not challenge or engage

    Advice to Management

    - Focus on engaging quality employees
    - Improve employee voice
    - Have events for professional accomplishments such as graduations and publications rather than engagements, weddings, and babies
    - It feels like the 1950s housewives designed a workplace that needs to modernize

    The hierarchy can be very demanding and inconsiderate.

    Be more patient and understand the people you are supervising. You should understand our job is hard and try respecting that for a change.

    Good work atmosphere, passion for children and research. Good community sense and programs for children.

    Cons

    Low, non competitive pay for required education, no opportunity for growth

    Advice to Management

    Compensate employees better. PhDs and masters level employees are way underpayed.
