    Pros

Good place to work, environment is good people are friendly. Benefits are good, pay is average, not up to industry standards.

    Cons

Union and non union departments, it should have been all employees on the same page from the start of union.

    Advice to Management

Make better decisions, recent merge with another hospital has made it clear that proper research wasn't done.

I have been working at Kent Hospital part-time

    Pros

Hospital has good pay and benefits

    Cons

Most managers are not nice - and the ones that are nice- the administration lets go. Kent only cares about making money for their hospital. Nurses are caring for more and more patients who are sicker with staffing ratios getting worse. The workers there get little to no breaks and end up working OT.

    Advice to Management

Respect your employees and do not talk down to them. Try to listen to their point of view instead of hiring a company to come in to evaluate how to improve things.

  10. "RN"

    Pros

Great place to work. Many family ties throughout staffing. Nurses are supportive. Sometimes short staffed. Its a great place to work. Occasionally slow with the hiring process.

    Cons

none, I have been a float nurse for 11 years in various departments. Slow with the hiring process. THE ER is a crazy place to work. Stay far away from the ER.
