      Pros

A decent collection of people left over from the non profit Kessler days. Patient interactions are outstanding!

      Cons

1.Poor and unethical management. 2.Poor organizational structure. 3.Unethical and borderline illegal behavior covered up. 4.No opportunity for growth unless you are good friends with management. 5. No training opportunity due to fear you will leave. 6. Awful pay for the amount of work they expect. 7. Always under staffed. 8. Benefits are not what you would expect from a rehab hospital. 9. Lack of guidance from management. 10. Absolutely NO LOYALTY to staff. You can bend over backwards and work overtime consistently and still be terminated without care. Sometimes employees take the fall of poor management in order to save managers job. 11. There is no job security at all for any worker in any department. They will use you until they can replace you for cheaper labor. 12. Place is dirty. Due to under staffing housekeeping can't keep up. Floors are gross. Lights are always out in parking lot. Restrooms are always disgusting. The only time they clean proper is when they are getting reviewed by joint commissions or investors are coming. Shameful for a hospital to be so disgusting, however it is nicer than homeless shelters. 13. If you survive past two years you will probably be sending out your resume. After two years the awesome feeling of seeing patients get better is beaten to death by a pathetic management system put in place a bunch of investors who Only care about profits.

Please do not work here. Whether you want Office Administration or you are a physical therapist

      Feb 25, 2016 - Office Administrator

      Pros

No weekends. Travel compensation for floating to other offices. They give you breakfast or lunch at staff meetings. They give you scrubs and a fleece jacket.

      Cons

High turnover. Stressful environment. Ceo and presidents of Select Medical and Kessler only want money and do not care about employees. So they demand more from you and do not give you a descent salary for what you do...short staffed. Poor management. No paid holidays. Only give you accrued PTO. Health benefits are horrible.. High deductible. Long hours..13 hours shift.. Have to work 2-3 nights... Poor communication. Low pay. No room for growth. Not flexible. Don't allow (if you are an office administrator) to go to school but then turn around and allow others to go to school... What I mean is.. They are flaky if you decide to go back to school in order to accommodate your hours.. One minute they work with your school schedule and next minute they do not...
