    Pros

    Great opportunity for growth, opportunities within the company that don't exist at small agencies. Great people.

    Cons

    Low salaries and office politics make it difficult to feel valued. Some people are kept at the same levels with no growth for years while others are quickly promoted. Hours are extremely tough.

    I have been working at Ketchum full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Internal personal growth is great -- always an ability to learn from others;
    One of the most fast-paced agencies to use technology to keep offices connected;

    Cons

    Most offices are completely driven by titles. You don't have one and you could be ignored.

    I worked at Ketchum full-time

    Pros

    Leadership, at least in my office, was available and engaged. They were willing to roll up their sleeves in real-time situations and also were very mindful of my career growth.

    Cons

    Not that many deal breakers. It's pretty similar to other agencies.

    I worked at Ketchum full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    enjoyed working with staff and always coming to the office motivated and inspiring ohers

    Cons

    after 18 wonderful years of employment, I didn't really appreciate the option I was given to leave the company. And those were being fired or leave via disability. Hired a employment lawyer and received severance and vacation pay.

    Advice to Management

    there is a reason key staffers are leaving and that's understandable. But under some of those conditions mentioned and to recruit current staffers and they too leave, immediately, says something

    I worked at Ketchum as an intern

    Pros

    You get to create your own PR campaign for one of the company's current clients, which is a great experience.
    They paid well.

    Cons

    They made interns kind of compete amongst each other for jobs. Any department hiring made all the eligible interns interview which is good for some, but bad for others who had been working in that department for the entire summer.
