    Great employer, medium pay

Nov 2, 2022 - Assistant Account Executive in New York, NY

    Pros

Great team + very busy. You get overtime as an AAE. Super flexible with where/when you work. Big company with lots of different clients and opportunities.

    Cons

You are micromanaged. They require to do lists in addition to billing your time at the end of the day and you will get pushback if you're not spending 100% of your time on billable client services. You have to put purchases on your personal credit card because there is no corporate card

    Pros

Great team, work-life balance most of the time but there’s some over time you don’t get paid for when you’re salary

    Cons

The health insurance. It’s Cigna. That alone would keep me from taking a job somewhere in the future.

    Pros

I left Ketchum in 2017. It was a good place to work overall. Lots of camaraderie among colleagues and challenges in the projects we worked on. People were hardworking, dedicated and creative.

    Cons

Sometimes work-life balance was off. Too many meetings (some unnecessary or too time-consuming).

    Pros

Amazing colleagues. Truly incredible people that are super smart and support each other. The client work can also be fun and engaging at times.

    Cons

Be prepared to work at least 50 hours a week. Tons of administrative work on top of your client work. Work life balance is virtually impossible. I find it difficult to even go on a date.
