Gained incredible experience but at the cost of my sanity

      Pros

Blue-chip client roster Smart people - some of whom were really good people Challenging, in a good and intellectually stimulating way Opportunity for upward mobility - (gain more junior- mid-level experience to take to another company/in-house)

      Cons

Cheapest company I've ever worked for. Don't know if this has changed, since I heard the PA office closed (where accounting was held), but they'd nickel-and-dime for a $3 charge - not believing/trusting employees and continuously questioning the authenticity of charges (did they not realize that we were billable and it actually cost the firm more money to waste team members' time than to simply approve a small charge? That's aside from the fact that this also killed morale) The politics at this firm are next-level ridiculous Absolutely no work/life balance - billibality targets higher at Ketchum than any other firm I've seen. And if you weren't fully billable, you worried for the security of your job

      Used to be good

      Business Outlook

      Pros

      - Global agency representation - Attracts high quality talent - Fun, smart colleagues - Get to work on high-profile brands with sizeable budgets - If you have a good manager, they can help advocate for you to receive career development opportunities

      Cons

      - Has lost the culture the company used to have; feels very sterile and lots of turnover - Terrible work/life balance especially for entry-level to mid-level employees - Average benefits; need to be more competitive in that sphere - Too much focus on higher level sector leads who don't actually do the client work -
