I have been working at Keurig Dr Pepper full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The growth mindset of Keurig Green Mountain combined with the process and cost control mindset of Dr Pepper Snapple Group makes for a great beverage company! This is THE place to be right now if you are creative, have initiative and ambition, and want to be a part of something BIG!

    Cons

Only cons right now are lots of team members learning about each other.

    Advice to Management

Do what you say you're going to do and bring the culture that's promised.

I have been working at Keurig Dr Pepper full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

As a VP of Keurig Dr Pepper I was in attendance at the recent VP+ meeting. I want share what I heard and my takeaways from our two days together...

    • We have a great game to play!
    • We are in it to win!
    • We have a great playbook to use!
    • We have great players but we want all players on the field... no one the sidelines!

From our employee engagement results sharing session I heard....

    • The company initiated the survey because they care about what I have to say and how I am feeling!
    • They will be transparent and share results all the way down the organization — the good, the bad, and the ugly!
    • I get to be part of the solution because together we will dive deep into the results to determine what we are doing well so we continue doing those things and where we have opportunities. Through employee-led action planning teams, we will work on developing action plans for identified opportunities either at the enterprise or functional level, as appropriate.

At the end of the two days, Bob Gamgort, our CEO and Executive Chairman of the Board, challenged us all to self-reflect and decide if we were all in, on the fence, or on the sidelines. I think that is a fair challenge because as Keurig Dr Pepper leaders we cannot expect to effectively lead and influence our team members if we are sitting on the sidelines!

I walked away from our time together very excited about the future and reinvigorated! I, for one, am all in! Game on!!

If this is the type of culture you want to be a part of us, I encourage you to join our team!

    Cons

We are going through alot of change right now which is to be expected when you go through a merger like the one we did and alot of change makes some people uncomfortable.

    Advice to Management

Continue doing what you are doing and challenging us all to be the best we can be and have fun doing it!

    Pros

Simple job, it is fairly repetitive, but simple, you just need to stack pallets
    Decent pay

    Pros

Opportunity for upward mobility was great!

    Cons

Shut down my plant in Waterbury and layed off everyone.
Seems to care less about the worker as the company gets bigger.

    Advice to Management

    Goodluck

    Pros

    Good Benefits from day one.

    Cons

Workload is inconsistent amoung employees with the same job title depending on location. If you are good work will be piled on. If you’re weak you will be catered to.

    Advice to Management

    overhaul key accounts

I worked at Keurig Dr Pepper full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Supportive cross functional departments, ie finance, HR, distribution, etc., strong national brands with good market share, team focused, good work/life balance promoted.

    Cons

Micro-management for national and regional sales teams, unable to have autonomy to manage assigned accounts. Internal systems are very antiquated and need total overhaul. Lack of internal marketing funds and assets to compete with other beverage suppliers. Does not promote synergies with their DSD and Warehouse brands which is HUGE missed opportunities.

    Advice to Management

Think outside of your department and make decisions which would best benefit the total business! Don't micro-manage seasoned professionals. Review your pay scale against competitors in the beverage or total CPG industry... KDP too low.

    Pros

Your team feels equally about the company, therefore you know everyone is in the same boat

    Cons

Lack of communication with employees (possibly just the "lower tier")
No company events, fun benefits, though there is 'discounted' coffee.
Lack of leadership, HR is unable to answer specific questions regarding benefits/bonuses
Lack of personal development opportunities, visibility/communication with other departments
