Stop the reorganizations and let people get settled into their jobs.
This is not a publicly traded company anymore. Stop acting like you can't have a bad qtr because of wall st and invest in future growth.

I worked at Keurig Green Mountain full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good coworkers, decent benefits. Work in a newer building that for the most part could also be selling insurance or office supplies. Not much more to say.

    Cons

If you read through reviews the constant source of con to working here is senior management. You could easily dismiss this as what else is there to complain about but it's especially true if you work in Sales and Marketing. These guys talk a good game but they only talk to each other and their chosen minions. These are old school autocrats tasked with leading a "revolutionary" category disruptor unfortunately, most of them come from old school businesses which are either struggling for growth or just wilting away. They rely heavily on consultants for guidance and/or rely on what's worked for them in the past (no inspirational outside the box thinking here). Remember, these are the same people that lead struggling brands previously. But they really don't have to achieve too much to score a serious payday before exiting for a "new opportunity". In the meantime they will endlessly restructure and prattle on about the huge opportunity ahead all the while creating a toxic culture and barely moving the needle. Mere pimples on the butt of progress. Glad to have gotten out here and to a company driving real disruption and making a big impact globally rather than shilling a coffee maker from 1995 and try to convince people it's a unicorn that poops rainbow ice cream.

    Advice to Management

They have all the answers what advice could possibly be given?

I worked at Keurig Green Mountain full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - Great facilities (buildings, cafeteria, gym)
    - Nice and knowledgeable co-workers
    - Fun working for a place where you can see the products you work on on store shelves

    Cons

    - Upper level management making decisions that don't make sense from an engineering perspective, as though technical people weren't involved in the decisions
    - Has gone from a fantastic place to work 5 years ago to a place where my technical contributions are not valued at all by my management
    - No easy way of providing feedback upwards; middle management don't seem interested in hearing worker's views

    Advice to Management

There is a major disconnect between the workers and upper level management (ELT). While many of us agree with the major business directions (ex., concentrating on coffee), how this is being accomplished seems questionable (ex., too many new products, layoffs although the company is making money). IMO, the individual contributors are the most valuable resource the company has; please involve them in the company strategy.

I worked at Keurig Green Mountain full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Its a great product invented by people that are no longer with the company.

    Cons

HUGE EGO's in Senior Leadership. Bad Culture. No communications down to staff level. They have a monumental problem with the cost of the K-Cups that they can't fix in the years to come due to costs and the brewers are just average. They drink their own koolaid way to much and they don't listen to their customers. There are also at least 3 big name consulting firms being used to help the leadership as they don't know what to do.

    Advice to Management

Stop listening to consultants. Get rid of the ego-maniacs running Technology and Supply Chain. Start listening to your own employees.
