I have been working at Keurig Green Mountain full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great people! Wonderful working environment. Fast pace and a lot of works, but that is why Keurig hires people.

    Cons

It is not a Con. It is opportunity to standardize and mature the processes to allow business to be conducted faster.

    Advice to Management

A lot of changes. Continue to make the changes needed for the company to be the best!

I have been working at Keurig Green Mountain (More than a year)

    Pros

Excellent benefits especially if you are healthy.

    Cons

Company needs to do a much better job of weeding out ineffective manager and supervisor.

Lots of waste from mismanagement and ineffective decision making that can be translated into monetary terms.

Engagement survey are not a reliable tool because employees can be lying to make themselves look engaged.

    Pros

Originally was a great place with great people and passion.

    Cons

Has turned into every other CPG company in the world. Bottom line is all that matters and Sr. Management input is all that's valued.

    Advice to Management

Cross functional sharing of information is good for the long term health of the company.

I worked at Keurig Green Mountain full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Free coffee, 40+ hours paid volunteer time, free access to online courses (i.e. Lynda.com), Medical, Dental, 401k, annual bonus

    Cons

Zero advancement opportunities for anyone over 30; diversity of thought discouragered (you're either all in or told you're holding the company back); VT jobs being eliminated or relocated to Burlington, MA offices; constantly changing based on latest trends and whims of paid consultants, while disregarding employee survey responses of what actually are the problems needing attention; hostile workplace (bullying) is permitted if the bully is a "producer"; not allowed to purchase basic office supplies as a cost savings effort (i.e. batteries for mouse!) for a job that requires 8 hours on a computer.

    Advice to Management

Keep your aging workforce who have wisdom and experience as well as hire younger employees. A balanced team works best. Stop worrying about trending and be more concerned with producing and delivering a quality product AND work environment. Engagement does not equal happiness. An employee can be on twelve committees and be miserable, while a quiet employee who just does an 8-hout shift of the same work with no interruptions can be very satisfied.

    Pros

Great team atmosphere. Empowered employees. Opportunities to grow and advance.

    Cons

Overall bandwidth constraints. Largely due to a course correct in strategy. Expected to subside in next 3-6 months.
