    Pros

Great insight into food industry as well as salaried sales position giving you time to get into the swing of things.

    Cons

Mobility within the company is limited and the industry itself is changing. The biggest issue was building the relationships you need to succeed. It is a long sell.

    Advice to Management

Training is key to get people on the ground running making you money. Invest the time standardizing a training program.

    Pros

We get paychecks twice a month and the checks don't bounce and they are deposited on time. The people in the trenches are great to work with.

    Cons

No promotions, no raises, more work, terrible management. We have to many former broker owners flying around the country just spending money and accomplishing nothing. They stay at Marriott properties just to get their points. There is no management, just mismanagement.

    Advice to Management

Please cut at least 50% of your managers. They do nothing, except spend all of our money. Let's give the folks in the trenches raises instead of your management people. They really suck!

    Cons

Boring, No objection, sales reps fudged sales calls to make quotas

    Advice to Management

motivate your team by offering some incentives.
Open your doors....Managers offices were in a locked corridor employees had no access to and had to make an appointment to see

Top heavy management. Salaries cut for folks being merged into the company when their company is bought. Cumbersome CRM system

    Advice to Management

    Pros

No bozos. The staff is intelligent, motivated, and non-political. People work as team mates with little backstabbing.

    Cons

CEO has ADHD. Or so it seems. Has difficulty pulling the trigger on decisions and following through on them.
Support staff (vendors) are friends of the boss, although not necessarily the most qualified.

    Advice to Management

Company is too large to have senior management be up to speed on everything that's going on. Loosen up, you've got people who are more than capable of working on their own.

    Pros

flexible hours, great office people; benefits are okay

    Cons

no advancement; too much family, no raises-- merit or otherwise-- horrible HR, cliquey salespeople; if you're not part of the in crowd no one talks to you.

I have been working at KeyImpact Sales & Systems (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The people on the street work very hard, with little compensation!

    Cons

You would think that the equity company that owns us would see we have too many layers of management and would chop some of these useless positions. But not, they keep flying around the country and collect their frequent flyer miles and hotel points. Pretty sad, because they think their words mean something, but it doesn't. Just got a Nation wide Client and pretty obvious they sold their soul to the devil!

    Advice to Management

Eliminate some of these useless layers of management and spend that money on your street people.

    Pros

Get to try lots of new products. Some clients are great to work with and they appreciate the job you are doing for the company and increasing their sales.

    Cons

Poor compensations. Too top heavy. No local management to oversee the office. Constant work increase with no additional pay. No one to turn to if issues arise. Constant threats of "stop complaining or get another job" regardless of how great your sales numbers are, Totally worthless HR department. "Open Door" policy written in the handbook is non existing. They just threaten your job. Very vindictive and lying Supervisors.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees with more respect and talk to them. Don't take upper managements word as gold, especially if they have never worked with that person before. Talk to your employees and get the facts before making any decisions. Company is to political.
