I worked at KeyImpact Sales & Systems full-time

    Pros

people were great so i thought

    Cons

they are deceitful and set you up for failure. i was hired... was told how good I am doing. I had the Neuro virus stomach bug had texted my boss to let her know I would be in little late where she told me to stay home. I got fired for calling out. when I told them I technically did not.call out I was told to stay home and have the text messages to prove it they then switched it to oh you had to many mistakes.... 1. I was reprimanded 1 time for a mistake and 2. again I have the it in writing that I was going my.job well. I personally think it's because they found out I was pregnant. but I do have the phone call with hr. recorded.and will be using it for unemployment. you cant fire someone over the phone and when they have doctors notes. and constanly switch up why i was fired.

    Advice to Management

Clean House, you have too much Management. Most are worthless to their people on the street. They do nothing for the street people.

    Pros

Get to try lots of new products. Some clients are great to work with and they appreciate the job you are doing for the company and increasing their sales.

    Cons

Poor compensations. Too top heavy. No local management to oversee the office. Constant work increase with no additional pay. No one to turn to if issues arise. Constant threats of "stop complaining or get another job" regardless of how great your sales numbers are, Totally worthless HR department. "Open Door" policy written in the handbook is non existing. They just threaten your job. Very vindictive and lying Supervisors.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees with more respect and talk to them. Don't take upper managements word as gold, especially if they have never worked with that person before. Talk to your employees and get the facts before making any decisions. Company is to political.

    Pros

We get paychecks twice a month and the checks don't bounce and they are deposited on time. The people in the trenches are great to work with.

    Cons

No promotions, no raises, more work, terrible management. We have to many former broker owners flying around the country just spending money and accomplishing nothing. They stay at Marriott properties just to get their points. There is no management, just mismanagement.

    Advice to Management

Please cut at least 50% of your managers. They do nothing, except spend all of our money. Let's give the folks in the trenches raises instead of your management people. They really suck!

    Pros

Great insight into food industry as well as salaried sales position giving you time to get into the swing of things.

    Cons

Mobility within the company is limited and the industry itself is changing. The biggest issue was building the relationships you need to succeed. It is a long sell.

    Advice to Management

Training is key to get people on the ground running making you money. Invest the time standardizing a training program.
