They will work you to the bone if your site is short. Often end up working over the max time awake. Poor team work depending on where your at and the team.

The individuals in the home are great, some of the staff are wonderful to work with, flexible hours, part time employees can enroll in health insurance (medical, vision, and dental) and 401k contributions, no two days are the same, opportunities to attend free training lectures
Cons
Low pay (especially because there are uneven amounts of responsibility per home), little room for advancement without a degree, you will be contacted when you are off to ask if you can come in/cover future shifts, lack of communication within higher up positions and between higher ups and direct care workers.
