I worked at Kforce Global Solutions full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I made incredible friends while I was there. My coworkers were some of the best people I've ever met.

    Cons

Their commission structure does not allow for much success, so please do not be fooled by their high base. The commission structure won't allow you to make more than $50 a month, if you're lucky.
I understand the need for metrics. They are vital in any corporate setting. However, the metrics also need to be based off of the market your office is in. Our office had very little business generated, but we were still expected to be hitting the metrics that the most successful offices were hitting. There was absolutely no way, and it set people up for failure.
Our senior management was very good at telling us that we wouldn't close down and that our jobs were safe. I left before the Indy office was closed down, but senior management continued to lie about job security until the morning they closed the office.
All of our HR complaints were either relayed back to our direct manager or ignored. Our culture was awful, and going in every day took everything I had. Every time we reported something, it was ignored or our manager found out.

    Advice to Management

Protect your employees. Be transparent, and do not lie to protect yourselves. You set dozens of careers back by telling people their jobs were secure, and then changing your mind with no warning. Allow HR complaints to truly be anonymous, and not broadcast to managers. // To higher management: replace your Midwest Leadership team. We were ignored and neglected by them in a hostile work environment, and continually promised we would be safe until they decided to close the office one day. Be. Honest.

    Pros

The team is collaborative and engaging. It is a fun environment to work in and those in management positions are approachable/have an open door policy.

    Cons

Limited room for growth and upward mobility given that there are only a couple opportunities to progress to from beginners sales/recruiting.

    Advice to Management

Practice what you preach. Consider allowing employees to experiment with what works for them without punishing them. Overall good management.
