Thank you for your review. Covid has certainly put a damper on our ability to share by the water-cooler, but know we are focusing on opportunities for the team to connect virtually - be sure to share your ideas as they come up. We appreciate your dedication and hard work!

Pros
Small company that makes and supports software for those in the child care industry. Many employees love they're supporting great child care practices and nutrition. Fully stocked kitchen with snacks and drinks. Monthly company lunch and breakfast on Fridays. Accepted happy hour each week. Vision and dental fully paid for by company. Health benefits and PTO are decent. Some bring their dogs to work with them.
Cons
The company used to be better, but started going downhill about 1 1/2 - 2 years ago. Management is fully in control and any disagreement with anything is frowned upon. Employees fear speaking up due to retaliation. High employee turnover over the past two years, and even employees that are no longer there, not knowing what happened to them. Developers have been outsourced overseas. No growth opportunities in your career, unless management plays favorites to you. CEO, Tom, in not in the office and his daughter is running the company as the COO. Little to no communication between departments (i.e. Development, support, sales, and implementation departments). I've seen new features developed into the software, without input of other departments, including the support department who talks to the company's clients. They say "we are family", but employees walk around on their tip-toes, carefully watching what they say. The atmosphere from management is more like "it's my way or the highway."
