I worked at Kiddie Academy full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The kids are great to work with. Most of the parents are also great to work with.

    Cons

Horrible management, understaffed, expensive or nonexistent Healthcare coverage. They claim to offer things in their ads for hiring people that don't exist.

    Advice to Management

Hire a few more people. Get better Healthcare coverage. Offer dental and optical insurance not just AFLAC.

I worked at Kiddie Academy part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The kids are amazing. For someone like me, I had the freedom to create great lesson plans and plan exciting days for the children.

    Cons

Overcrowding in classrooms. The ratio was often overlooked making it hard to control many kids with little to no help who are often still potty training.

    Advice to Management

Care more about the kids and safety than your money

I worked at Kiddie Academy part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Decent pay range, for individuals working without a college degree; ranging from $11 part-time to $13 for full-time.

If it's your preference, there are Short shifts of a min 5 hours; from Monday through Friday.

    Cons

The front-office workers (Owner, 2 directors, and chef) are extremely clicky, and rude to the general staff; unnecessarily so.

If you work as a teacher or assistant teacher, your classes may be too much to handle because the front-desk NEVER schedules enough people (only the legal minimum).

    Advice to Management

Be more kind to your staff, and you won't experience such a high rate of turnover.

If all of these teachers are quitting (back-to-back) after such a short-term, you must accept that you are doing something wrong as directors, and as a owner. The issue may just be in the office setting, and it is something that needs to be addressed.

  10. "Do not trust Kiddie Academy of Redmond"

    Pros

    I can't think of one

    Cons

Kiddie Academy of Redmond is an untrustworthy place of business for employment. They will tell you that you are hired and proceed with the new hire process up until the day before you are scheduled to start, even on your last day working for a previous employer, and then rescind your employment without any reason. This company is a flake and does not care about its prospective employees.
