I worked at Kids Headquarters full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good life work balance, fair compensation, the Rabins were great people to work for! Very family oriented open minded and valued the feedback from management. Our Vice President of the retail division was a great mentor and teacher and helped implementing the structure that the business needed!

    Cons

I was in California and corporate offices were in New York. Sometimes the difference in time zones would
    Work against us.

    Advice to Management

Bring back your retail stores! My previous customers still ask about our products in children's wear and ask where they can find it.

I have been working at Kids Headquarters (More than a year)

    Pros

Decent Salary, company is well-established and isn't going out of biz any time soon.

    Cons

Antiquated systems (far too Excel-based for such a huge company). Tenure employees very antagonistic and cliquish. Poor communication between departments and from management to teams. No true leadership. Expects LONG hours with no extra compensation.

    Advice to Management

Welcome to the 21st Century. Try joining it and running your internal business as such.

    Pros

Best company to work for, the product was high quality affordable for the customer and easy to sell!

    Cons

The time difference between our store and the corporate office!

    Advice to Management

Should really reconsider opening up their outlet stores again!

I worked at Kids Headquarters full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

While owned and operated by Artie Rabin--great place. People who worked there were wonderful

    Cons

Once bought by LF USA--went downhill--everyone fighting stabbing each other in back--not caring

    Advice to Management

All they care about is the amount of money they make--not the good of the employees and the company itself. Probably because of the attitude of LF USA
