    Pros

    Creative, kind people at lower levels.

    Cons

    Management lack of direction, unrealistic goals, draconian style. Many “yes” managers, lacks leaders. Turnover is excessive, never ending firing, hiring freezes. Executive revolving door. Poor technology, people work harder instead. Minimal raises, even if underpaid when hired. No work flexibility, don’t trust work from home employees.

    - Upper level management is all over the place: restructuring every year and vague goals - Upper level management seems to be oblivious to the industry standard when it comes to growth and development - Company does not invest in the people

    Pros

    Some really good people, easy to work for, good pay. Owner is a genuinely good guy. Good party's and social events.

    Cons

    Where to start? Kids ii is like a loose canon with a constantly changing focus or "long term strategy", 5 year road map to 3 year road map because the President is not hitting his numbers. Turnover of staff is crazy, 20%+ constantly. You never know who to contact in any department. Every new Director / VP / Executive is the new fantastic person who will change the entire company but: 1. If they are truly smart people they run away as soon as they can. Kids ii does not understand how to maintain talent. 2. If they are not smart they try to stick as long possible as the pay is good and you can get away with a big mouth for a long time. In the end they end up being fired on the spot and you only realize weeks later some of these "key" people are gone. It is seemingly easy to hide in a corner do your job, get a good pay as long as you don't step on the wrong persons' toe's. Mostly exec's who have no clue how to work and learn from millennials in the company. HR exec & her constantly changing team has no clue what they are doing, especially the international offices that are completely left to themselves. Sometimes a good thing as it would not bring them any good if HR get's involved. There is no annual/quarterly performance review for the last 4 years, always promises but in the end the only thing they did was lowering all the sales salaries, which is actually illegal in most of the countries outside of the US. But they either had to accept it or take a lawyer. President and exec's protect their ivory towers as hard as they can by bullying the actual employees that make a difference. Company has very limited growth for years and will very likely not in the end as they have no clue how to brand their brands & products to millennials. The marketing team doesn't understand what branding is and how products are sold these days. Look at a competitor like Zuru.

    I have been working at Kids2 full-time

    Pros

    The people at this company are amazing. You have those few outliers, but for the most part, the company is full of hard working, dedicated people. The ability to make an impact here is huge. There are a lot of chances to leave your mark on the business in a way that is unique to this area. The vast majority of people want you to succeed and are willing to roll their sleeves up and help you do that. The company has continued to grow despite enormous obstacles.

    Cons

    Change can be deflating. As the company is going through some growing pains, there is a lot of change. This is more than normal, but all in the vein of making this growth sustainable. With this change, the company has become a little siloed.
