    Pros

    - leader in the industry
    - leader safety
    - true investment in employees (both internal and third party trainings to obtain industry certificates and licenses worth thousands per year)
    - great benefits including 100% 401(k) match up to 6%
    - yearly bonus in form of 401(k) contributions

    Cons

    - 60+ hour weeks not uncommon
    - weekend work not uncommon
    - little sense or understanding of work/life balance (common for industry)
    - issues common in construction management and engineering (i.e. predominantly white male workforce, frequently hostile work environments with rampant use of crude language (inside and outside of the office), etc.

    Advice to Management

    - continue to promote mentoring of young employees
    - continue to embrace diversity
    - promote positive reinforcement
    - promote a sense of professionalism both in the office and in the field
    - discipline employees who do not conduct themselves professionally

    Lots of politics and it's all who you know.

    treat people like assets, and this company would be unstoppable.

    Good starting point to learn the trade, lots of overtime

    Cons

    Poor communication skills, work life, and very low pay compare to surrounding areas. Contradicting work rules, or more like they get made by how best they suit management.

    Pay close attention to your management.

    Great working culture. Everyone wants to get the job done. Performance based incentives

    Cons

    Company is run almost entirely by engineers. If you're not an engineer, you may find it hard to move up.

    Getting to work on some of the coolest projects in the country

    Cons

    Work/life balance is not good. Work/life balance in the industry has always been a challenge however.

    Pros

    Long hours= good checks, conworkers are great, most foremen are good and will train you if you prove your a hard worker and put the work in and have the drive to learn

    Cons

    Difficult to move up, every super, hr person, and foremen will promise you the world but nothing will ever be delivered from that promise, they will promise a spot and tel you not to worry about looking for a job when the current one is coming to an end then when it’s time to go to the next job boom lay off

    Advice to Management

    Keep your bs promises to yourselves car notes and mortgages don’t get paid with empty promises, you give someone your word, keep it. Purposely Screwing over hard working loyal employees is low.
