I worked at Kiewit Corporation full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Lots of responsibility Quick.
The right managers quickly notice and reward hard work.
Good structure to provide feedback and improve workers.

    Cons

-Work life balance is a huge Issue.
    -Kind of middle management heavy.
-While I worked here there was a saying "People don't leave Kiewit, they leave managers" I saw this happen a lot. I wasn't one of those people naturally.
    -Lots of Unpaid OT

    Advice to Management

Work on work life balance. Other companies are able to bid work and build it in 5 day a week stints. Why can't a great company like Kiewit not do it to?
