    Advice to Management

Pay more importance to your business employees as they keep the wheels turning on the bus. Need to work on work-life balance or turnover will never decrease

I worked at Kiewit Power Constructors full-time

    Pros

-Decent pay and solid benefits. If you stay with the company long enough there is the option to buy stock. Puts you in debt with the company that you have to pay off though. -Get to meet a lot of quality people. -Looks good on your resume after you decide to move on and find something better.

    Cons

-Work/Life balance is non existent. Working 12 hour days with 6 and sometimes 7 days a week during an outage. -Constantly moving. Most locations are in the middle of nowhere. -You are a replaceable body to upper management.

I worked at Kiewit Power Constructors full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great benefits and services to employees in a cultural aspect. Good opportunities to lean at a fast pace environment and are continuous of being green

    Cons

You are just another number who can be replaced. Need to be willing to devote your life to the company; not a good work life balance job.

I have been working at Kiewit Power Constructors full-time

    Pros

Nice 401K, but that is starting to reduce, nice pay, cheap insurance, they give you 20 days vacation the first year.

    Cons

However you can't take vacation till you earn it at 3 hours a week. They talk a big story about work life balance, butt that is a lie. Job is number one and family number 2. Most mangers are poor at there jobs. Small number of managers actually know how to manage. Kiewit Power grew up to quickly and promoted the wrong people.

    Advice to Management

Spend some money on improving managers. Don't make the training voluntary either!
