    Pros

K-C is a great place to work and provides flexible work arrangements; however, the ability to do so effectively is solely dependent upon the department and the manager.

    Cons

K-C lacks true leaders, someone to coach and lead a team

    I have been working at Kimberly-Clark full-time

    Pros

Great pay, flexible work arrangements as necessary; culture leans towards team leader training, continuous improvement and cost savings. Site "fun" events several times a year.

    Cons

Very top heavy, adding multiple director and above jobs while on strict cost savings programs and constantly looking at potential outsourcing.

    Advice to Management

Less chiefs, more workers. Less spending on travel and top level relocations and hiring and more on IT and marketing.

    Cons

advancement - doesn't appear to be based off merit

    Advice to Management

Recruit and retain sales talent - drop the dead weight and stop promoting account managers based off tenure

I have been working at Kimberly-Clark full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Very successful company with a strong supply chain infrastructure

    Cons

Very political, meaning, that promotions and recognition are rarely based on actual performance, success, skills and exceeding objectives...But more so based on who can be the loudest and brown nose the most to management. I believe that the best individual for the job should get the job, rather than the individuals that are best friends with hiring manager for a respective position.

I have been working at Kimberly-Clark full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

KC is in a great community in Wisconsin. The salary is well above the standard of living. There are many opportunities for advancement. They have some education assistance as well. Many travel opportunities.

    Cons

Located in a small city, although there are a couple of bigger cities nearby if you want to do things on the weekends. Constantly changing managers because people move around so much.

    Advice to Management

Leadership is transparent and personable. KC is a fairly attractive company to people coming out of college, so continue seeking top talent when recruiting.

    Cons

Passive aggressive culture at times which keeps progress from being made. Lots of old school thinking. Good ole boys club still in place even though many new leaders are trying to change.
