I have been working at Kimley-Horn full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The employees at Kimley-Horn are great to work with from upper management to the production and assistant staff. I feel like others are always willing to help with production needs and even help me grow in my career. The sky's the limit is the value I try and bring everyday coming to work and I have no issue believing it truly with how Kimley-Horn operates!

    Cons

There isn't much that I can say as a con for Kimley-Horn. The things I can think of doesn't involve Kimley-Horn like a tuff drive to work........
With the help Kimley-Horn provides I hardly think about it.

    Advice to Management

Keep the fun, friendly atmosphere growing at Kimley-Horn.

I have been working at Kimley-Horn full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Extremely talented and professional staff, flexible procedures, freedom to build thriving practices, large support (technical expertise and just raw manpower), efficient infrastructure, and large rewards in multiple forms. Also, 1/2 day Fridays. Very rewarding - all around.

    Cons

Not the best fit if 46 hours per week is a problem for you. Some work more, but are rewarded well for the added effort. I have yet to work 40 hrs at ANY engineering firm, but KHA is honest and upfront about the expectation.

    Advice to Management

Don't interrupt this culture and business model. Keep building and investing in the next generation of KHA engineers!

    I have been working at Kimley-Horn full-time

    Pros

Kimley Horn is a firm where you are rewarded for your efforts. You are surrounded by people who are willing to work as hard as you. You are encouraged to build your own practice and to do what interests you. You were also very well rewarded for your successes.

    Cons

You're rewarded for your own successes but that also means you have to put in a lot of effort. Kimley Horn expects extra effort.

I have been working at Kimley-Horn full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Yes, it is a lot of hard work and long hours sometimes, but the employees are great and it is more of a help each other environment rather than suffering for long hours. Even with long hours you have the flexibility to arrive when you want, leave when you want as long as you meet your goals and deadlines.

    Cons

Long hours are a reality, but it is just part of the consulting world. If you want to be successful you need to really work hard
