I have been working at KinderCare Learning Centers full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Great curriculum, very attentive and caring management, the kids are amazing although some are very bus, the people who have worked there have worked for a very long time so you know it's very connected! Caring environment!

    Cons

Can get stressful and overwhelming, but that is just overall any childcare industry you work at. Pay can be higher.

I worked at KinderCare Learning Centers full-time for more than a year

    Pros

I was provided with a lot of opportunity to grow as a leader, plenty of day to day task variety, and it was fun working with the kids, teachers and parents. Lots of creative freedom to do my best work.

    Cons

Little to no training or support is provided by corporate. You are on your own with your Director, and if you don’t get along with him/her, it’ll be tough. Also teachers call in sick every day and you have to cover for them, meaning your day will change completely on a dime. It is also essentially a sales position as you have to give tours and call families multiple times. KinderCare is all about the money and they pay you nothing

I have been working at KinderCare Learning Centers full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

I have gotten to work at this location for over a year now, and have been with the company for three years total Before moving up north, I was at the Northgate location, which is far bigger. Since making the move I have seen such improvement at this center. While I have read the older reviews and comments, the new center director, Emily Martin, has really turned this pace around. the community she has built within the center is astounding! Each teacher she has hired, has been hired with purpose, not just because! She truly takes the time to train and answer all questions I or any other staff member has asked. Each teacher prides themselves on their job and their overall impact on the children. From assisting with Zoom classes in our School Age Program, to getting ready for potty training in our Discovery Preschool Program Every classroom is decked out with the current unit and other fun and colorful displays. I am grateful to work here, and look forward to many more years!

    Cons

When I first started, I had a long list of things i wanted to fix, but since moving centers, i have been able to be trained and have the why behind the what. So I guess my biggest complaint WAS, I wasn't told why the way things are...but some coming to the Mill Creek center that issues is gone!
