I worked at Kindercare full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The best reason was it was convenient at the time, my children also went there. The staff and employees were very friendly and helpful.

    Cons

My son was a baby at the time and I used to have to go and breasfeed him on the clock, plus there was one supervisor that was really hard on most of the staff, but after a while you got used to her.

    Advice to Management

Most times we are all mothers working at the company, be mindful that sometimes life happens and we should not be penalized when it does.

I have been working at Kindercare full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I appreciate working at KinderCare because the children have sunk their lovable claws into my heart. I have marvelous coworkers, and the ability to seek outside babysitting work as well. My full time job offers benefits, paid time off (though never enough for my wandering soul) and my boss is as flexible as she can be with my schedule, while keeping the children and their needs in the forefront of her mind.

    Cons

For the work one does you feel awfully underpaid. At times to make sure the children are well looked after you have mandatory overtime. If you're around the wrong people it can be easier to adapt a negative attitude.

    Advice to Management

Fight for more raises, and feed us at random please.

I worked at Kindercare part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexible time. I work around my daughter's school sched. I can drop her off and pick her up from school right on time!

    Cons

Very little compensation. Stressful environment sometimes. But it's actually not all that bad. Everywhere you go or job you landed, it will be the same scenario anyway. Just be patient and do your job well.👍🏼

    Advice to Management

Just keep up the good work!👍🏼

I have been working at Kindercare full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Curriculum is based on the development of each child. When the team works together the families are able to see the wonders of KinderCare.

    Cons

Scheduling and labor is a huge factor in the daily business. If they focused more on the training and needs of the teacher, there wouldn't be as much of a turn over. We have got to get back to the basics of providing the best possible care for children.

    Advice to Management

Appreciate your staff!! They are what helps make your center successful!!! You have to buy into them in order for them to buy into you. Don't ask them to do something you won't do yourself!!!
