    Negative Outlook

I worked at King Saud University for less than a year

    Pros

Some faculty members are broad- minded. The university tries hard to catch and implement recent advances in higher education.

    Cons

Saudis have a higher priority over non-Saudies. Some Saudi employees among the administrative staff treat faculty members in a bad way. Terrible red tape. Non-Muslim Americans are paid higher than Muslim Americans. Your American nationality saves you from false police accusation. Too much administrative work for faculty member.

    Advice to Management

Abandon employment discrimination. Appreciate the qualities, qualifications, and experience of foreign faculty members and pay them what they deserve.
