I have been working at King Soopers part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Movement through the company can be quick and easy. And they offer great benefits usually. It's hard, however, when management is slow.

    Cons

Movement through the company is difficult when management is lax. My experience has been difficult because of the slow movement for management to promote or move people through.

    Advice to Management

Pay your employees for all the work that they do.

    Pros

I really enjoyed my co-workers and the flexibility to move around the store.

    Cons

It was really difficult to get my manager to work with my schedule while going to school. Upper management can get super finicky over small details.

I have been working at King Soopers part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

-The training so far has been really through, but a lot of this stuff you just have to learn on the job. Videos only take you so far.

-The starting pay is decent, and raises are determined by how many hours you work. SO basically if you prove yourself useful to the company, you'll get more hours and raises will come faster.

    Cons

-You have very little control of your schedule for a while, new people pull the left over shifts

-Your hands are always cold working in Meat & Seafood

-You're always on your feet, so in the beginning your legs will hurt a lot while you build
muscles. Hey at least you can ditch the gym membership fees

    Advice to Management

Keep it up. No really that's it. I don't have 20 words glassdoor.
