I have been working at King's Fish House part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Communicative managers generally, decent enough perk system

    Cons

Inflexibility in scheduling, building itself, company often seems focused on fixing certain minutae(apron color) and ignoring the fact that sewage lines filled with feces regularly back up into the kitchen drains.

I have been working at King's Fish House full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Pay is great, co-workers are friendly, short hours

    Cons

Management does not recognize as much as they should, in my opinion. The management is primarily concerned about sales and what you can do to increase their revenues and bonuses.

    Advice to Management

Buy your employees meals here and there. Show more appreciation for those who are working doubles to cover for you. More appreciation for workers.

I worked at King's Fish House part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You really do begin to learn the in's and out's of seafood.

    Cons

home office constantly wants to change how things are done, but not to improve how guests are served but just to make the life of staff harder. roll silverware this way now, same out come as before just we added 5 more steps. Side work is a part of any service job but have more then an hour of side work every shift is out of control.

    Advice to Management

simplify things! How about before you attempt to implement a new procedure you come to a location and actually attempt it your self. you like to change things with no rhyme or reason because you heard they do it differently somewhere else and you want to be like them. Let Kings be Kings in all of its awesomeness! You offer amazing food at a competitive market price, you hire excellent staff and most of your management team are some of the most caring people, but your corporate people are so out of touch its incredible! Also when you come in to dine leaving 15% or less when you receive anywhere from 50% to 100% off your check is ridiculous specially when you expect more then perfect service on a Friday or Saturday night. Show more appreciation to your staff everyone works hard to ensure King's stays amazing, don't try to burn your staff.

I have been working at King's Fish House part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I've thoroughly enjoyed my time at King's Fish House thus far. I've been with the company for about 2 and a half years, and I can say this is a company I respect. I've only grown and become a better version of myself work wise because of the standards we are held to. We are "guests first," which means we do our best to ensure that our guests leave happy every time.

    Cons

Scheduling can be inconsistent at times, but as long as you talk to a manager, that can change.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the great work!

I worked at King's Fish House part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great pay and the environment was fun as well! All of the employees wanted to help each other out and every one supported each other for the most part. Definitely a great hostess job if you're looking for one!

    Cons

The management at the time were not organized with themselves and it showed in the entire restaurant. Also at times the rules seemed unnecessary.
