    I have been working at Kingfisher Systems full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Small company, personal attention, good benefits, interesting jobs. I’m so glad I found Kingfisher! I feel they genuinely care about their employees and do everything they can to support our customer’s mission.

    Cons

    Due to the nature of contracting work, it can be hard to connect face-to-face with managers. But email, phone, text contact with managers is outstanding. They’re always available to me.

    I have been working at Kingfisher Systems full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Kingfisher is a family-oriented company who truly cares about their employees. No matter the time of day (or night) the headquarter staff is always swift in answering any questions I have regarding employment, benefits, time tracking, security, payroll, etc. The staff is amazing!

    Cons

    None. They far exceed other Government Contractors I've worked for.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the great work!

    I have been working at Kingfisher Systems full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    -Healthcare benefits offered are far and above better than what is offered by peers;
    -The company makes quick, and sound, decisions because it isn't bogged down by bureaucracy;
    -The most family friendly organization out there.

    Cons

    -Kingfisher has spoiled my expectations for future employment;
    -Emerging technology held by the company is slow to change and define markets;

    I have been working at Kingfisher Systems full-time

    Pros

    Open door policy where employees are treated like employees (not a number) and our concerns are heard. Also, great benefits and a super nice HQ (although a fair amount of work is at client sites)

    Cons

    Not a huge company (which has its own benefits), but also means there may be less opportunities for alternate jobs. That said, I believe the smallish company culture where everyone is valued outweighs that by far.

    I have been working at Kingfisher Systems full-time

    Pros

    Kingfisher is a great place to work. The management does an excellent job of positioning the right people in the right job seats. Team members are not just a body but are active members of the company. Employee and customer satisfaction is an ethos of Kingfisher, and it shows. The company has a diverse portfolio of people, and we all seem to get along no matter who you or what you are. The IT department is responsive and ensures you have the tools needed to get the job done. Management is all about improving you and entirely understands and supports the family life. Your not hovered over by leadership, and they actively seek your input. I have worked with a few companies and Kingfisher is one of the best. I hope to stay with them long term and will update this review accordingly.

    Cons

    I have no cons at this time.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the great work at making all of us feel like team members, not a simple employee. You're doing great with putting the right people in management.

    I have been working at Kingfisher Systems full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    compensation, benefits, flexibility. I have worked at several other companies (large and small) and the atmosphere is unlike any other i have seen. Input on decisions, even from non-executives is not only listened to, but factored in so that the outcome benefits the most people at the company. The main saying at corporate is "employees are our most important asset". this is not simply a slogan, but something that management truly believes and our employees believe.

    Cons

    The only con would be that I wish all our employees outside the NCR could spend a day at corporate to see how every decision that is made takes into account the impact on all employees and does what is best for as many people as possible.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work!

    Pros

    Everything was great about this company, from start to finish they were very accommodating, the benefits are outstanding and generous, and the pay was good. This company did a great job to prepare me and help me move forward in my career.

    Cons

    Unfortunately the pay was just a little less competitive, and upon being offered a job close to my family, which paid more than the kingfisher jobs in the same area, with regret I decided to leave.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you're doing! its been great, you guys helped me in so many ways I can't begin to thank you enough!
