    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Kings Island part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Long hours if you want them
Better pay than most in the area for food and beverage
    Great for advancement.

    Cons

Long hours even if you don't want them.
It's hit or miss on good management for your stand.
    Often short staffed and overworked.

    Advice to Management

Give more incentives for your employees in order to entice them more. $9.00 starting wage and free park admission isn't really enough for a lot of people. Try giving benefits such as employer matched 401k, stock options, and bonuses based on performance for the associates.

    Advice to Management

You need to hire older more mature people to be supervisors and leaders at your park. Do not be so discriminatory to people with illnesses who would like to work for you. Offer real flexible schedules. Try to treat people better not like crap on a shoe. Offer them help if needed.

I have been working at Kings Island full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great place to work to have a good time, make friends, make money, and get free admission to the park. As a supervisor you do have to make schedules for your associates, make sure the ride is running properly, make sure your associates are trained properly, and take care of any guest complaints that may arise.

    Cons

Long hours with short breaks, being in the rain, dealing with grumpy people all day.

    Advice to Management

Give the employees better break room food, more associates to work with so that everyone gets a fair break, and listen to the employees. They know the park the best.
