    Pros

Trainees are all really great to work with and great team spirit. A lot of time to study for college and exam courses. Good work socials. Some very good managers who take time to nurture you and give good feedback to help improve you.

    Cons

Some seniors in outer offices are absolutely worked to the bone and subsequently leave rather than moving up firm. A lot of pressure on them for workload and will often get thrown under the bus. City office seniors appear to get it easier in this respect and have easier progression routes. Weak progression routes in outer offices if the next role above is blocked by someone. Some managers wont give you poor feedback to your face and will instead black list you so you end up doing worse jobs. Word gets around who the employees are who have done a bad job and this sticks (not always justifiably so). A lot of the time there are awful budgets for jobs and employees wont put time down properly to save awkward conversation.

    Pros

Great social events Flexible working hours The people are really friendly Lots of responsibility early on Fast progression

    Cons

Managers are over loaded so don’t have time to properly train juniors/seniors HR based in City and doesn’t seem to communicate to outer offices very well Company will extend training contracts as much as possible Pay for trainees on AAT is dreadful, however they complete the same work as students on ACA contract

A really rewarding place to work and develop your career

Jun 17, 2019 - Senior Tax Manager in London, England, England

    Pros

The team, the collegiate approach to servicing clients and the commitment to agile ways of working makes KS a great place to work. The firm has made so many strides over the years and I feel really proud to be a part of the tax team. The work is challenging and varied; there is great support from the senior people and I have learnt so much.

    Cons

The partners have invested a lot in refurbing the offices, but the city office would still benefit from moving to a new, modern building. I understand this is in the pipeline in the next couple of years.

    Pros

Salary is fine Good training for graduates NFP managers and partners are very approachable and helpful

    Cons

Very boozy atmosphere - always felt that the boozy "lads" were favoured and if you weren't a big drinker you were looked down upon Very cliquey on the 4th floor Terrible holiday allowance City office is a bit of a shovel Managing partners don't seem to care much

    Not great

    Nov 3, 2019 - Tax Senior

    Pros

The work is interesting and challenging and they put on drinks after work on Friday

    Cons

Staff are overworked and undervalued. Partners and managers don't take responsibility for when things go wrong. The city office is not fit for purpose - the office is not in a great location and the air-conditioning doesn't work.

    Pros

KS has 6 offices located around London and the M25, employs around 600 people. It is large enough to offer good already experience and the opportunity to grow while retaining a friendly collegiate atmosphere in each office

    Cons

It is modernising quickly but still has areas where change is needed
